Sacred Cacao Circle in Santa Fe, New Mexico

10 SPOTS OPEN

Maggie Battista works at the intersection of soul philosophy, ancestral wisdom, and sacred practice—where your Soul becomes your bridge to the field, your ancestors speak, and you emerge into the fullness of who you came here to be.

On Saturday, June 7—also 6 Ajmak in the Mayan Sacred Calendar—Maggie will share stories and teachings; guide you through a Sacred Cacao Ritual to commune with the earth, your ancestors, and the wisdom of your Soul; and offer a demonstration of ancestral channeling.

In an intimate home setting, you'll participate in an invocation and communion with Ceremonial Cacao, a beverage prepared just for you with intention, love, and the energy to activate your alignment to your Soul.

In Mayan cosmology, Ajmak is the day of forgiveness—of tenderness toward our own humanity, of ancestral connection, and of releasing what we've been carrying so we may move forward lighter. And 6 is the number of harmony, of weaving threads together into something more whole. To sit with Cacao on this day is to receive the medicine of softening—the kind that doesn't break you open so much as gently unlatch what's been locked. This ceremony is not incidental timing. It is a Soul-level invitation to gather, forgive, and belong.

Maggie has been working with Cacao for 12+ years and received the permissions necessary by a counsel of spiritual leaders to hold Cacao rituals with the elements of the Maya tradition and will invoke those energies to support our collective expansion.

Ceremonial Cacao tastes like rich, creamy hot chocolate and has been cultivated by the Mayans for centuries. It is a powerful energy—not just a drink—as it stimulates the central nervous system, relaxes smooth muscles, and dilates blood vessels, sending more oxygen toward the heart. Consumed in ceremonial dosages with intention, Cacao offers healing, guidance, transformation, and expansion. Maggie uses the very best Cacao rooted in the Mayan universe and serves it in ceramic cups made by her hands, as guided by her ancestors, explicitly for Cacao rituals.

“Sitting in Cacao Circle with Maggie and others felt safe and magical. I felt more connected to myself and the other souls present. Maggie’s words of wisdom and storytelling gave me permission to provide grace and compassion towards my own soul’s voice and welcome in the depth of my own being.”

— L. F.

“Thank you for providing such a beautiful space for community, guidance, realization, and more. What has stayed with me? I think the ongoing connection to allowing me to be me without saving the world. Not exactly sure what that looks like except I know it is a journey.”

—L.D.

“My journeys with Ceremonial Cacao are not like other ceremonies. In Mayan traditions, they actually do not hold ceremonies with Cacao.

Instead, they make kotzij' (rituals) to offer reverence, intention, and gratitude to the heart of the earth (Cacao) and energies that create and support our reality, paving a path for our spiritual evolution.

My ancestors called me to Cacao and offered me a program that fosters an inner journey to retrieve parts of your Soul and reconcile or make peace within your ancestral lines.

In a Soul Journey, you will witness the rising of your own Soul’s wisdom so you may embody it and attract all that is meant for you in this lifetime.”

— Maggie Battista

“I just wanted to really thank you for this incredible experience.  I’m looking forward to seeing you again.”

—C.S.

“I truly can’t believe how much has shifted for me since the Cacao Ceremony. It’s unbelievable how Cacao and my grandmother came to me at the right time to tell me to be ready for these shifts. I was blown away!”
