Why I Created This
I've been following these rituals and practices — attuning to my Soul's rhythm, bridging the divine and the earthly, hearing my ancestors — for many years. Since following a cadence of sacred time, my whole life has shifted. I think that's because, between the heart of the sky and the heart of the earth, the Soul is the bridge.
Today, I feel both aliveness and fierce compassion. I magnetize my next steps so naturally, so easily. I'm in consistent dialogue with my ancestors and those who support me in all dimensions. I'm offering the work my Soul came here to share. I process emotions and grief in perfect timing — slowly enough to integrate, swiftly enough to get to the gifts on the other side of the pain. And because of this, I was called to create The Altar — a space where I guide you to hear your Soul, meet your ancestors, trust what you're sensing, and step into the sacred gifts you came here to carry.
One day, you’ll wake up and realize you're no longer rushing to your phone first thing in the morning — you're lighting your candle, sitting at your altar, listening to your dreams or your sweet Soul. The voice that used to sound like anxiety now sounds like guidance and wisdom. Your body has become a compass to your truth. The relationships that were draining you have naturally completed. The ancestors who once felt distant now walk beside you — not as an idea but as a felt presence, guiding you, confirming what you know. The gifts you were afraid to claim are becoming your offering. Do I need to know anything about the Mayan Sacred Calendar to join?
No. Though it guides the rhythm of The Altar, you do not need any prior knowledge. Through its lens — as well as astrology, human design, the phases of the moon, the seasons, the elements, cosmic and earthly movements, and your body — you'll learn to attune to sacred time and hear your own Soul's timing.

What are the dates for our live gatherings?
Each live gathering occurs on a unique and sacred day in the Mayan Sacred Calendar. While this means the dates vary by month, this ensures a variety of options to fit a spectrum of schedules. You can be certain that most live gatherings will begin at 10am PT/11am MT/12pm CT/1pm ET/6pm GMT to accommodate as many timezones as possible. Around the 20th of each month, you’ll receive the schedule of gatherings for the following month.
Do I need to drink Cacao during our live rituals?
No, you do not need to drink Cacao. By the nature of the rituals, we will commune with the spirit of Cacao. You may bring any warm beverage to the altar—tea, matcha, guayusa, coffee, maté, or any other personal favorite. Hi, I’m Maggie Battista.
I built The Altar because I needed it first — a place where women can hear their Soul, meet their ancestors, and claim the sacred gifts they came here to carry. My work emerges from my own becoming. I share only what I have lived and integrated first.
I am a sacred bridge and ancestral medium — a soul philosopher, ceremonialist, oracle, and channeler. I work in the space between dimensions — channeling ancestral wisdom, holding sacred ceremony, and transmitting what wants to come through for the collective.
Before this chapter, I spent nearly 30 years building brands, businesses, and communities. The practical and the mystical are not opposites in my world. They never have been.
