Solstice Journey to the Altar Within in Santa Fe, New Mexico

18 SPOTS OPEN

Maggie Battista works at the intersection of soul philosophy, ancestral wisdom, and sacred practice—where your Soul becomes your bridge to the field, your ancestors speak, and you emerge into the fullness of who you came here to be.

On Saturday, June 20—also 6 Toj in the Mayan Sacred Calendar—we gather in the sacred hours before the Summer Solstice peaks, as Maggie guides you through a full ceremonial journey: an invocation and communion with Ceremonial Cacao; a clarifying sound journey to go within; ancestral guidance from the soul field; and collective wisdom in an intimate home setting.

In Mayan cosmology, Toj is the day of the sacred fire—of reciprocity, of offering, and of payment made and blessings received. It is the day we tend the flame and the flame tends us. And 6 is the number of harmony, of collaboration—of what becomes possible when we gather with intention. On the longest day of the year, in the sacred hours before the sun reaches its fullness, we meet at the fire together—to place what is ready to be released into the flame, and to receive what the Soul has been waiting to give you.

This is not a class or workshop—it is a descent to the altar within—where your ancestors wait, the fire burns, and your Soul remembers what it came here to do.

The Journey (10:00 am to 1:30 pm)

Resting — Arriving and landing together.

Opening — Cacao served ceremonially as Maggie shares the cosmological frame: the heart of the sky, the heart of the earth, and your Soul as the bridge.

Receiving — A guided meditation and sound journey as Maggie weaves the mother frequency into the field. You are held. You go inward. Your Soul surfaces. Your ancestors are present.

Emerging — A sharing circle opens. Bring your questions for the ancestors—they will be answered. Questions welcome. Silence welcome.

Followed by a warm meal, fruit, and time to connect.

Maggie has been working with Ceremonial Cacao for 12+ years to create space for love, compassion, expansion, and the energy to activate your alignment to your Soul. She received the permissions necessary by a counsel of spiritual leaders to hold Cacao rituals with the elements of the Maya tradition and will invoke those energies to support our collective expansion.

Maggie was called to Ceremonial Cacao by her ancestors as the gentlest of plant medicines—one that opens the heart without force, that softens what has been held, and that creates the conditions for the Soul to surface naturally. Consumed in ceremonial dosages with intention, Cacao offers healing, guidance, transformation, and expansion. Maggie uses the very best Cacao rooted in the Mayan universe, prepared explicitly for this work.

“Sitting in Cacao Circle with Maggie and others felt safe and magical. I felt more connected to myself and the other souls present. Maggie’s words of wisdom and storytelling gave me permission to provide grace and compassion towards my own soul’s voice and welcome in the depth of my own being.”

— L. F.

“Thank you for providing such a beautiful space for community, guidance, realization, and more. What has stayed with me? I think the ongoing connection to allowing me to be me without saving the world. Not exactly sure what that looks like except I know it is a journey.”

—L.D.

“My journeys with Ceremonial Cacao are not like other ceremonies. In Mayan traditions, they actually do not hold ceremonies with Cacao.

Instead, they make kotzij' (rituals) to offer reverence, intention, and gratitude to the heart of the earth (Cacao) and energies that create and support our reality, paving a path for our spiritual evolution.

My ancestors called me to Cacao and offered me a program that fosters an inner journey to retrieve parts of your Soul and reconcile or make peace within your ancestral lines.

In a Soul Journey, you will witness the rising of your own Soul’s wisdom so you may embody it and attract all that is meant for you in this lifetime.”

— Maggie Battista

“I just wanted to really thank you for this incredible experience.  I’m looking forward to seeing you again.”

—C.S.

“I truly can’t believe how much has shifted for me since the Cacao Ceremony. It’s unbelievable how Cacao and my grandmother came to me at the right time to tell me to be ready for these shifts. I was blown away!”
